Did you tune into watch the 63^rd Annual Emmy Awards? The Emmy Awards are sort of the unofficial kickoff to awards season.  This means a new season of watching to see which of your favorite stars, TV shows and movies take home the gold. The Emmy Awards also kick off perhaps my favorite part of awards season…the fashion.

If you watched last night there was a lot going on in the way of fashion and shoe trends. I took notes, and tracked down some shoes similar to those worn by Tinsel Town’s most famous stars. Model and host of Project Runway Heidi Klum is a style star, and last night was no different. Taking a fashion risk, Klum worked the red carpet in a daring design from Christian Siriano. The light colored hue definitely stood out in the sea of red, and her matching nude shoes were a great choice.

Many starlets at the Emmys added a bit of sparkle and gold to finish off their look. Friday Night Lights star Connie Britton donned an elegant crimson-colored gown and paired it with gold sandals. Now, mixing the two shades together can be hit-or-miss, but Britton hit the style target.
