TV shows capture our attention and take us to another part of the world where we don’t have to worry about ourselves for a change – and we get the fun of following other’s lives instead. It’s almost like living a day in the life of another person, but without all the consequences! There are so many great series out there that it’s hard to select a favorite, but one of my top television series has to be How I Met Your Mother.

How I Met Your Mother is narrated by character Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) as he tells his son and daughter how he first met their mother. Ted is telling the story in the year 2030 while all the events that play out are still occurring in 2005. The television show has been described as a comedy, drama, and romance series. It’s definitely one of my favorite TV series, and I’m sad to see it coming to an end on March 31, 2014.

The How I Met Your Mother team was at this year’s PaleyFest. Every year The Paley Center for Media in LA and New York host a week of interviews with the year’s top television shows. In addition to How I Met Your Mother, there were also actors from the following shows: Pretty Little Liars, Orange is the New Black, Mad Men, Parks and Recreation, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Actress Alyson Hannigan (who plays character Lilly Aldrin) looked amazing! Every time I spot her in photos or in personal interviews, she looks incredibly happy, and this event was no different. She looked thrilled to be honored at PaleyFest with her fellow actors and actresses. She wore a very cute white dress with a black bottom – it seemed like white was a popular color for this event. She accessorized her ensemble with a black bracelet, perfectly French manicured nails, and black ankle strap peep toe pumps. Simple yet elegant!
