Are you ready for the “Ride Along”?
Have you ever wanted to be the cop to hunt down all the bad guys? Maybe you are a huge NCIS, Castle, or CSI fan and you want to give those crime careers a shot for the day? I know growing up I always wanted to be a K-9 Cop, and I would still try it if I was given the opportunity!
If you’ve ever had this dream too, then you’ll enjoy plenty of crime-filled action and adventure in the movie Ride Along, which comes to theaters January 17, 2014. Ben (actor/comedian Kevin Hart) gets to join his cop (and future brother-in-law) James (hip hop artist and actor Ice Cube) on a 24-hour patrol. While working one-on-one with James, Ben tries to prove once and for all that he is worthy of marrying James’s sister Angela (Tika Sumpter). This movie is said to be an action comedy movie, and by the looks of the trailers and commercials, it’s going to be pretty funny!
Most people go out every now and then to see a new movie in the movie theater, but have you ever wondered what it would be like to attend a premiere of a movie? Ride Along has been premiering all around the United States, and most recently in Los Angeles. I’m not sure what you have to do to get invited to a movie premiere, but I would love to attend one!
The Los Angeles premiere was full of well-known celebrities even beyond the cast and crew from Ride Along. Nick Cannon, Niecy Nash, Martin Lawrence, and Keri Hilson were all in attendance! They all looked wonderful in their tuxes and dresses. Keri Hilson in particular really stood out to me! Hilson, a singer, songwriter, and actress, embraced the booties fashion that is going around! She wore a pair of lovely black booties paired with a black and white dress, a matching purse, and gold jewelry! She looked great, and the short dress paired with booties made her legs look lean and long.
