No matter how much planning that goes into the Big Game each year, something unpredictable always seems to happen. This year’s dilemma happened to be a power outage that caused play to be suspended for 34 minutes. This made for the longest football game in history at 4 hours and 14 minutes.

I’m personally not a big football fan, however I do like to watch the Big Game for the halftime show and the commercials. This year, Beyonce took the stage and rocked it! Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, the other former members of Destiny’s Child, came back to join her perfomance. I don’t know about you, but the 90’s girl in me LOVED that!! As usual, the commercials were highly entertaining too. Most were hilarious and some may have gone a little too far. Working at a shoe company, I think it’s fun to see what shoe commercials are aired. This year, the Skechers commercial was Man vs. Cheetah. It showed a man wearing Skechers’ new GOrun 2 shoes that was able to tackle and tie up a cheetah in order to save a gazelle from being attacked. I thought it was pretty clever.
