It’s ok – go nude!

Blake Lively did Tuesday night at the premiere of hubby Ryan Reynolds’ new animated flick Turbo in NYC. Lively looked absolutely gorgeous, rocking an entire outfit from the Burberry Prorsum Resort 2014 collection.

Lively successfully struck the perfect balance between effortless style and high fashion – I love how she paired a laid-back tank with the bejeweled skirt.

And to pull the look together (without overdoing it), Lively opted for a simple nude pump from my dream shoe designer Christian Louboutin.

Ladies, nude pumps are one of those styles that should be in your closet. They work great with jeans, they look fab with your office attire, and when you want to wear a bright color or a bit of bling, they do help to keep your overall look balanced (Lively wanted her statement piece to be that gorgeous skirt, so why take attention away with a bright or overly embellished shoe?)

Of course, while I try to save my pennies in hopes of owning a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps, right now, I’ll stick with the look for less. 🙂
