Celeb Style Alert: Jordin Sparks

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Did you watch the 2014 Billboard Music Awards?

The night was full of buzz-worthy moments that set the social media sphere by storm, including a “live performance” by a hologram Michael Jackson, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert’s on-stage duet, Kendall Jenner’s teleprompter flub and Robin Thicke’s very personal performance of his new single, “Get Her Back”.

Top winners of the night included Imagine Dragons, Justin Timberlake, Lorde and Katie Perry.

On the fashion front, there were several hits (and a few misses 🙂 ). One of my favorite looks on the red carpet came from “American Idol” alum Jordin Sparks who added a bit of glitz to the carpet with her chic, glittery little black dress. She accented the ensemble with an understated-yet-sleek pair of open-toed black sandals.

When it comes to special occasion wear, you can’t go wrong with a simple sandal like Sparks’. You can wear it with practically any dress silhouette and absolutely any color. And when you keep your shoes simple, it allows you to show off your dress, your statement jewelry… really, your style options are endless.

Here are two sandals similar to Sparks’ that you can rock on your next night out.

Look For Less: Jordin Sparks

Michael Antonio Lovina-PTN (Women’s)

A fierce way to keep it simple and stylish. The sleek ankle and vamp straps make it easy to pair with any outfit. It’s also available in a variety of colors – at $44.95, you might just want to grab one in every shade!

Nina Camden (Women’s)

Here you get the look of a simple strappy sandal with a little bit of bling to dress things up. And even with the added detail, it’s still a steal at only $89.95!
