Did you tune in to watch the 2014 BET Awards?

Awarding top honors to African American artists in the entertainment industry, the annual ceremony, held at the Nokia Theatre in LA, was truly a star-studded event full of rousing speeches, hot performances, fab fashion and more.

Beyonce, who’s currently on tour with husband Jay Z, scored three awards including “Best Female R&B/Pop Artist,” the BET “FANdemonium Award” and “Best Collaboration” for “Drunk in Love.”

Pharrell Williams took home the award for “Best Male R&B/Pop Artist” and “Video of the Year” for the mega-hit “Happy.”

In the film categories, “12 Years a Slave” won big, with awards for “Best Movie,” “Best Actress” for Lupita Nyong’o, and “Best Actor” for the film’s star Chiwetel Ejiofor.

On the fashion front, actress Kerry Washington stole the show. Washington walked the red carpet, showing off fabulous her post-baby figure, in a summery floral dress from Dolce and Gabanna. She kept things simple, with a pair of white pointed-toe pumps.
