Robert Downey Is Styling in Due Date
Robert Downey Jr. has turned his career around in just a few short years.
In 2008, Downey became the face of the Iron Man franchise and followed that performance up with hits like Tropic Thunder and Sherlock Holmes. The blockbusters turned Downey from a respected but troubled actor with addiction past addiction problems into one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars.
For his latest achievement, Downey will appear on screen with Zach Galifianakis in Due Date.
Galifianakis has been on a role of his own recently. Last summer he appeared in the smash hit comedy The Hangover. His awkward character won laughs from audience members and helped push the movie to over $200 million in gross revenue.
The two acting powerhouses look to stir up some laughs in their latest road trip comedy.
The movie looks like the child of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. The two stars – Downey and Galifianakis – head out on a road trip across America as Downey races to see the birth of his child.
Todd Phillips, the director of The Hangover, Starsky and Hutch, and Old School co-wrote and directed Due Date. The director has been hitting his stride in the mainstream since The Hangover shocked everybody two summers ago.
While the storyline slightly resembles the Johny Candy and Steve Martin classic, Due Date is sure to have tons of fresh and unique laughs.
Galifianakis has a crazy, stupid guy wit going for him that people are digging right now. Just looking at the guy makes you laugh.
And Downey has the image of a smart, charming, and driven guy going with the fans and he’s working it to perfection with just about every movie recently.
Just talking to friends it seems like this is the must see movie of the fall and it comes out at a good time – just before the holiday movie rush.

Due Date Dress Shoes
In Due Date, Downey can be seen wearing some stylish suits. And to go along with those suits he’s wearing some snappy dress shoes.
In the promotional photo above you can see he’s actually wearing a dress shoe that sort of looks like a Chukka – very popular styling that has been gaining more attention recently.
Good news for you is you can combine the comfortably styling of a chukka boot with your own wardrobe.
Chukkas are perfect for the fall and winter and make for versatile footwear since they work with dress and casual style.

But even with the workman like appeal these chukkas can be used with a pair of khakis for the office meeting too.
