Trend Alert: High Heel Fashion Trends Part 2
As promised, here is part two in our latest trend alert – high heel fashions for 2011. Friday I shared the first six trends from the MSN Style article Hottest Pairs of High Heels to Hit the Red Carpet. Today, you can take a look at the final six styles on this list. I thought the wide variety of coming trends was interesting. There seems to be something for just about everyone! Read on and get an early start on your spring shopping!
Less is More: It looks like this trend is a twist on the classic. Start with a simple, timeless style and add in a vibrant color. Viola – an updated look that’s sure to grab some attention. |

Totally Spiked: This is the most potentially dangerous of the high heel trends. When looking for a pair of heels with spikes, make sure not to choose anything too sharp. You don’t want to end up like Kim Kardashian at her 30th birthday party! |

The Perfect Platform: Platforms are another style that seems to come and go with amazing consistency. This style also helps to make sky high heels easier on your feet. (If you recognize the style to the right, I’m not surprised! An embattled starlet made it famous earlier this year during one of her many court appearances.) |

Bright & Curvy: Wedges will continue to be hot this spring. This style adds in a splash of bright color and lots of curvy straps to amp up your look. |
|
Golden Touch: High heels with a golden hue are a great look on the red carpet. They also transition well into ‘normal’ life.’ Look for a pair that can be used for both dressy and casual looks to get more bang for your buck. |

Rock ‘n’ Roll Wedges: Another twist on the wedge for the coming seasons. Look for edgy additions to this classic heel type and get ready to rock! |
