Has anybody heard about a wedding in Britain?

Apparently there’s a royal wedding going on later this month involving Prince William and the beautiful Kate Middleton. People are following their every move. Actually the Daily Mail has been hitting it out of the park covering the royal wedding. It’s a great source for anything and everything royal wedding if you’re inclined to follow along.

Recently the Daily Mail had an article about the fashion influence Kate is having. She’s been having a huge influence on the purchasing decisions of women around the world. The princess will probably be in the spotlight for the rest of her life and as a result she’s going to lead the way for some fashion trends if she so chooses.

When Kate Middleton wore a Burberry trench coat last week, designer Christopher Bailey — the brains behind the label — must have been rubbing his hands with glee.

For within hours of her appearance, the trench coat had sold out across the country…

Kate’s fashion influence became clear as far back as 2007 when a dress she wore for her 25th birthday (a £40 Topshop tunic) sold out within 24 hours.

So Kate is now a huge influence on the fashion world.

As we learned back in January, purple shoes are a hot trend in 2011. Kate isn’t missing out on this trend. Check out the photo of her wearing some cute purple shoes. They look pretty stylish and would work with lots of outfits.
