Helena Bonham Carter certainly knows how to grab attention on the red carpet! The actress showed up to the Golden Globes yesterday in a pair of mismatched shoes. On the upside, both shoes are the same style. On the downside, the colors she chose remind me a little too much of Christmas! I shouldn’t judge her too harshly. When I was younger, I did convince my mom to let me out of the house in mismatched shoes once. However, this was during the era when it was cool to wear mismatched slouch socks. And I was seven or eight. In my mind, the next logical step to this sock trend was to expand it into my footwear collection.
