Sarah Jessica Parker in Professional Shoes in New Movie
Sarah Jessica Parker is back on the big screen.
My girlfriend and I like to see movies in the theater. Recently, we were watching one (I can’t remember which) and the trailer for I Don’t Know How She Does It came on. My girlfriend instantly fell in love with the premise. It’s about a professional woman (Parker) constantly busy with the kids, work, her husband, and everything else life has to throw at her. She never sleeps. She constantly thinks about what’s on her to-do list. She’s a busy gal.
And nobody can figure out how she does it all.
I’ll admit it does look like a good movie. The struggle with family, friends, and work can drive us all crazy. And when do you make time for yourself? I don’t know how anyone does it.
It looks like the movie will follow Sarah Jessica’s character through various funny and sad situations. She’ll be busy and on the go all while working with a new guy in the office and missing out on her kids’ biggest events.
Looking a little deeper at the footage from the movie there are some interesting footwear trends showing up. Sarah Jessica’s character appears to have one some real classy, professional shoes in I Don’t Know How She Does It. From the looks of it there are even some of the great Fall 2011 trends showing up in the film.
Here are a few I could spot (add your own thoughts in the comments if I miss some)…
I Don’t Know How She Does It…The Shoes
There are lots of interesting trends this Fall 2011 season. Plaid is making a bit of a come back even in footwear. You’ll see some heels featuring plaid as a great cold weather fashion statement in both professional and casual settings. And boots are big as they always are. There are some interesting details this year like zippers, exposed faux fur or fleece, and buckles. The little details seem to be what people are going for but don’t be surprised to see some huge zippers and buckles on boots this season.

It’s great for meetings in the board room and for any get together event you might have this fall. There are a lot of events, parties, and occasions during the fall and holiday season. A great pair of stylish black heels can be the perfect match for a variety of outfits.

The weather is turning cold and the boots are coming out. To keep your feet warm this winter check out all the new styles like this one from Rocket Dog. Furs and fleeces are once again showing up on the edges of winter boots. And knee high and higher winter boots are still popular. I think everyone likes to keep their entire leg warm and there’s nothing wrong with that. Brrrrr.

Here’s a fun plaid heel for that holiday party. It can be your office party or even a part with family and friends. Show your holiday spirit by adding a little fun red to your feet. The plaid is perfect for the cold weather season and is a great detail to really set you apart from everyone else at the party.
