She’s this summer’s rising star. She has a new album. She’s the envy of teenage girls worldwide, dating tween pop star Justin Bieber. Now, Selena Gomez is set to take over movie theaters in Monte Carlo out July 1. The young actress is garnering attention for her vocal and acting chops, and along with her co-stars Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Katie Cassidy (Melrose Place), Selena is a sure-fire fashion star as well.

While on a tour of Paris with her stepsister and best friend, Selena’s character is mistaken for a famous British heiress, in Paris at the same time.  In the midst of chaos, all three girls are quickly whisked away to Monte Carlo. During their new adventure they meet handsome bachelors, and enjoy the luxuries of living like an heiress…until the real heiress arrives.

The comedy is sure to make bank at the box office, with young fans of Gomez flocking to see the rising star. From the looks of the trailer and studio photos, there is much to love about the fun and fabulous cities they visit, complemented with fierce fashion.
