The Backstreet Boys Are Back
Boy bands have been in and out over the past decade, but there is one boy band that appears to stand above the rest: The Backstreet Boys. Many girls, and even guys, know this band’s songs and continue to listen to them today. Since 2006, the Backstreet Boys have been taking a break from writing music and touring. However, they partnered in 2011 with New Kids on the Block and have slowly made their comeback. Now they are planning their October 2014 Cruise from Miami to Half Moon Clay.
The Backstreet Boys are not just back to tour; they are also working to gain more public attention again. Most recently, A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell were in Pennsylvania collecting toys at a local mall for Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots was started by the U.S. Marine Corp to donate toys to children who might otherwise not have toys for the holidays. The Backstreet Boys were at the mall for one hour posing for pictures with anyone who donated an unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots. In total, they collected over 100 toys.
These boys like to have fun and get everyone around them to laugh, and this toy drive was no exception. While the fans weren’t there this time, the Backstreet Boys still had fun posing with all the toys. Nick Carter was caught looking like he would not share his toys, while all the other boys were excited to get a present.
