The Stud Factor
If you wait with bated breath for Glamour UK to let us know who the hottest men in the world are each year, you can relax – the list is out! In a strange twist that’s very telling of our current pop culture, every single man in the top 5 is either a vampire or a werewolf. (Not literally of course, they just play one on tv. Or the big screen. Or in your imagination. Whatever.) It should come as no surprise that Robert Pattinson took first place, especially since he is a product of the UK himself. Rounding out the rest of the top five, in numerical order, are Taylor Lautner, Ian Somerhalder, Xavier Samuel and Kellan Lutz. What a Twilight Reunion!
He may now officially be spoken of as ‘the hottest man in the world’ but it looks like Robert Pattison is also spoken for. The last couple of weeks have brought about a new flurry of news regarding his relationship status with Kristen Stewart. First came a photo from People.com showing the two hugging in Montreal. This was immediately followed by the first photographic evidence of a non-movie related kiss by Robsten. Most recently came public pictures of the house they sometimes share together in Los Angeles, courtesy of E Online (and an old real estate listing). Good thing there are so many others on Glamour’s list to choose from!
Robert is pictured here with his co-star from Remember Me, Emilie de Raven. What a lucky girl – a stud on her arm and studs on her shoes! In all seriousness, she is rocking a shoe trend that was big this summer and looks to be sticking around again for the fall. Studs and other metal details are a great way to add a little edge to your outfit without going over the top. This style continues to be featured on shoes, handbags, jewelry and other accessories.
If you are looking to find a shoe that is very similar to Emilie’s, I would recommend the Van Eli Urmi Pump. Want something with a heel but a few less studs? The Luichiny Fanta See Pump is a great option. I really like that this shoe has studs in many different sizes and shapes, along with a matching metallic heel. If you would prefer to ease into the studded shoe trend, take a look at the Yellow Box Blanca Flat. It’s really the best of both worlds – a sensible flat with a few sensational details.
