Royal Wedding Bells are in the Air

With the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton only a little more than a month away, it’s hard to avoid the news about wedding guests, vows and … an official wedding coin? Yes, that’s correct, the coin features the wedding date along with a picture of the royal couple and their names. According to People.com, the issued coin will sell for 10 pounds, or about $16 to commemorate the couple’s wedding.
Unfortunately I don’t think the engraved portrait does Middleton much justice. The beautiful bride-to-be is stunning in person; however, the depiction on the coin… well doesn’t really show that. William and Middleton did however approve the design as well as the groom’s grandma, Queen Elizabeth II whose portrait is featured on the other side of the coin.
