Recently, Glamour magazine’s Megan Gustashaw  outlined a list of “10 Shoes Every Woman Should Own”. We’ve all experienced the sense of panic when we’re in a rush to get somewhere. We get dressed and realize, “Oh no! I don’t have any shoes to go with this!” We find ourselves in different situations and settings on any given day. And each situation calls for the right pair of shoes.

While it’s tempting to gravitate toward our favorite shoe time and again, stocking up on one style may not be the best idea (and you may end up with a closet full of pumps that end up collecting dust). If you find yourself in a last minute bind and in need of the right pair of shoes, it’s time to take notes and get shopping for some of these style staples. Here are five styles I chose based on Gustashaw’s article, that I feel are fashion winners.

Pumps are the go-to shoe style of women everywhere looking to dress up their wardrobe. They’re great for work and going out. They look great with jeans, business attire and skirts. 2. Black Boots
