Emma Thompson had the honor of doing this on November 7th in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. She was accompanied by her co-star from the upcoming film, “Saving Mr. Banks,” Tom Hanks.

I’ll admit it – the majority of my evening Sunday was dedicated to the 2011 Grammy red carpet and award show. A few key shoe trends definitely stood out to me as I watch the stars parade across my tv. Shimmer and glitter were everywhere, with many celebs jazzing up their footwear with sparkly embellishments. I also noticed a lot of peep toed pumps. And the heels! I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the shoes I saw had at least 5″ stilettos. To help you sort through some Grammy fashion trends, I’ve compiled a list of five celebrity red carpet appearances from Sunday night – complete with shoe recommendations should you want to [ . . . ]
I came across an article on MSN Style entitle Hottest Pairs of High Heels to Hit the Red Carpet and just had to share. The last few days have been pretty sparse in new celebrity gossip, so I offer the following rumor with a large grain of salt. It appears that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be getting married in the New Year. Various sources, including The Telegraph out of the UK and The Wall Street Journal, are reporting that the two plan to tie the knot in India. I was surprised to find out that she had turned 30! Don’t get me wrong, thirty is not old. I just always thought she was younger than that because of the lifestyle she leads – fun, fashion, parties, shopping and relationships all documented for public consumption.
And speaking of relationships [ . . . ]
Watch out Donald! Last night on NBC, Rockport took over Trump’s boardroom on The Apprentice. I made sure to be home and ready to watch as nine o’clock rolled around. Normally I’ll watch The Apprentice if I think of it, but this week I wanted to be sure to catch the Rockport shoe fashion shows. I’m glad I did. Not only did I get a peek at some great new styles, but I also got to see an Apprentice first! (Note – Spoilers ahead! Skip to the last paragraph to avoid spoilers and learn more about an exciting contest [ . . . ]
The past five years or so, I’ve really felt like there has been a lack of good, old-fashion sitcoms on tv. The end of NBC’s Friends was a huge deal to me. I was a freshman in college as the series was winding down and got into the habit of watching each new episode with the girls in my dorm. Since finding out that Ross & Rachel did end up together and realizing that Joey’s spin-off was no substitute for the real thing, I haven’t found too many comedies that hold my attention the way Friends did. Thanks goodness for [ . . . ]
If you wait with bated breath for Glamour UK to let us know who the hottest men in the world are each year, you can relax – the list is out! In a strange twist that’s very telling of our current pop culture, every single man in the top 5 is either a vampire or a werewolf. (Not literally of course, they just play one on tv. Or the big screen. Or in your imagination. Whatever.) It should come as no surprise [ . . . ]
